Marcus Webb: Building an Empire One Deal at a Time
Marcus Webb has spent the last two decades quietly assembling one of Atlanta's most influential commercial real estate portfolios, with holdings stretching from Buckhead to the BeltLine. As founder and managing partner of Webb Capital Group, he has closed more than $1.2 billion in transactions across office, mixed-use, and logistics assets. This year, Webb Capital's $340 million mixed-use development in Old Fourth Ward broke ground — a project many credit with accelerating the neighborhood's resurgence.
On mentorship and the next generation of Atlanta dealmakers
Beyond the deal sheet, Webb is known for his commitment to developing emerging talent: the Webb Capital Fellows Program has placed 60 young Atlanta professionals in real estate and finance roles since 2019. 'Atlanta rewards those who invest in people as aggressively as they invest in property,' he told Atlanta Business News in an exclusive interview this month.
